Clever Closet, part of the Sharps Furniture Group, has recently transformed the way we operate by delivering products directly to site. This evolution has created an exciting opportunity for a highly organised Planner to join our small, fast-paced team based in Bilston.

The Role
This is a hands-on coordination role where you will take ownership of planning deliveries, confirming schedules, collecting payments, and liaising with transport partners when issues arise. You will play a key role in ensuring installations run smoothly and customers receive a professional, seamless service.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate direct-to-site deliveries in line with installation schedules

• Confirm appointments, delivery dates, and customer readiness

• Monitor daily plans and respond quickly to changes or delays

• Liaise with transport providers to resolve issues and keep deliveries on track

• Collect final payments and maintain accurate records

• Work closely with installers, customers, and internal teams to maintain service levels

• Update internal systems with live job progress and status changes

• Support continuous improvement by driving efficiency, urgency, and accountability

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in planning, scheduling, logistics, or operations coordination

• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Confident communicator, comfortable dealing with customers, drivers, and internal teams

• Commercial awareness and confidence handling payments

• Proactive, positive approach to problem-solving

• Team player who thrives in a collaborative environment
